Unlike many young women in the nineteen twenties, Hestia Myatt dreamed of becoming a doctor, not bobbing her hair and wearing flapper dresses. But after a broken engagement, she headed for the hills of North Carolina to care for her ailing aunt. | I enjoyed this book. While it may have been a bit predictable, it was a nice, lighthearted change of pace. I really liked the era that this book was written in. I was also glad to see the strength of character and convictions that the main character had.
